Traveling Lantern introduces King Arthur

A young boy stumbles upon an unusual friend in a beloved sorcerer named Merlin in a presentation by the Traveling Lantern Theatre Company.

“The Sword in the Stone” tells the story of Young Wart, who will grow up to become King Arthur. The performance is Monday, Nov. 13 at 5 p.m. at the Hermiston Public Library, 235 E. Gladys Ave. The free program is open to the public and is suitable for the whole family.

Based in Portland, Traveling Lantern combines education and entertainment while bringing live theater to schools, libraries parks and courtyards. An interactive process, audience members are invited onstage to perform with the presenters.
