PENDLETON — The following sentences have been imposed in Umatilla County courts:

FELONY

•John Arthur Baxter, 29, Umatilla, pleaded no contest to five counts of Identity Theft: sentenced to 18 months probation, 90 sanction units, 30 maximum jail units, 80 hours community service, $250 fine, $1,500 fine-suspended and restitution to be determined for each count, plus attorney fees; pleaded no contest to Theft I: sentenced to 2 years probation, 90 sanction units, 30 maximum jail units, 80 hours community service, $250 fine, $1,500 fine-suspended and restitution to be determined; pleaded no contest to two counts of Failure to Appear I: sentenced to 2 years probation, 120 sanction units, 60 maximum jail units, 80 hours community service, $250 fine and $1,250 fine-suspended for each count, plus attorney fees; pleaded no contest to Attempt to Commit Class C/Unclassified Felony: sentenced to $100 fine plus attorney fees; .

•Jonathan Andrew Rains, 20, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Theft I: sentenced to 3 years probation, 120 sanction units, 60 maximum jail units, 80 hours community service, $200 fine and $2,800 fine-suspended; pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine and Failure to Appear I: sentenced to $200 fine for each count; pleaded guilty to Theft II: sentenced to $100 fine (sentence to discharge); pleaded guilty to Failure to Perform Duties of Driver-property damage: sentenced to $100 fine and 90 days driver’s license suspension; pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine (misdemeanor): sentenced to $100 fine (sentence to discharge).

•Jesse Thomas Moore, 37, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Possession of Methamphetamine: sentenced to 6 months jail, 1 year post-prison supervision, $2000 fine and 6 months driver’s license suspension; pleaded guilty to Failure to Appear I: sentenced to 3 months jail, 2 years post-prison supervision and $200 fine; pleaded guilty to three additional counts of Failure to Appear I: sentenced to $200 fine for each count (discharged).

MISDEMEANOR

•Gordon Zulauf, 59, Hermison, pleaded guilty to DUII: sentenced to 40 days jail, 140 days jail-suspended, 3 years probation, 120 hours community service, $1,255 fine, $4,000 fine-suspended and 1 year driver’s license suspension, plus court costs and fees; pleaded guilty to Reckless Driving: sentenced to $100 fine.

•Bruce Arnold Bailey Jr., 46, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Resisting Arrest: sentenced to 2 days jail, 178 days jail-suspended, 3 years probation, 50 hours community service, $350 fine and $1,650 fine-suspended, plus court costs and fees; pleaded guilty to Harassment: sentenced to $100 fine.

•Ricardo Guzman Ayala, 49, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to DUII: sentenced to 30 days jail, 150 days jail-suspended, 2 years probation, 80 hours community service, $2,255 fine, $1,000 fine-suspended and 1 year driver’s license suspension, plus court costs and fees (termination of Diversion Program).

•Richard Earl Haney, 66, Hermiston, pleaded guilty to Failure to Report as Sex Offender: sentenced to 10 days jail, 170 days jail-suspended, 3 years probation, $100 fine and $2,900 fine-suspended, plus court costs and fees.
